CILSJ in March of 2003 began the formulation of your formal Program of EA with the accomplishment of a preliminary diagnosis on the teams and projects of Environmental Education developed by government and no-government organizations in your area of action.  

Starting from the lifted up reality, and with these educators' participation, it delineated your objectives and strategies of performance:    

* Animation of the Nets of Environmental Education of the Basin (REAJO and REDEMAR) strengthening and articulating the teams of Education Environmental, government and no-government, that work in the municipal districts; 

* Consolidation of Watershed vision inside of the programs of training of multipliers;  

* Coordination of the programming of a trayler unit in the integral municipal districts of the Consortium; 

* I motivate to " Vimas " and " Eco-clubs " in the schools of fundamental teaching;  

* Promotion of regional events integrated in commemorative environmental dates;  

* Elaboration of educational campaigns and of projects integrated in the Basins of São João and Ostras river and in the Coastal Zone;    

This way PEA looks for to integrate the efforts, the ideas and actions of the groups and of the teams printing effectiveness and visibility to the environmental transformations in the Basin, reinforcing the participation of the society in the Executive Groups of Work of the Intermunicipal Consortium Lagos São João.
